What does it mean to be Scotland’s most innovative and advanced multi modal railfreight terminal?
Home to two of the latest autonomous cranes capable of 58 lifts-per-hour, we can land an intermodal container from a train to your warehouse or onto the M8 within 15 minutes. Our Zero emission electric tug system will bring state of the art efficiency to the heart of Scotland’s distribution hub.
Our depot has direct access to Scotland’s new M8 motorway and is located within one hour’s drive of 75% of Scotland’s population. Now that the M8 motorway construction has been completed, we can offer full multimodal capability.
Planning was approved in October 2017, after years of collaboration with residents and both local and national governments. The new 775m sidings will form the largest Rail Terminal in Scotland and by working with strategic partnerships we plan to have the first phase of the railway connected by 2020.
