Mossend International Railfreight Park will be Scotland’s leading rail freight terminal

Providing a state-of-the-art facility for moving goods to and from the rest of the UK and internationally

Scotland’s first state-of-the-art inland port

200,000m² (2.2m sqft) of bespoke, carbon neutral distribution, service and logistics facilities will be co-located next to four new 775m Euro Standard railway sidings – supporting Scotland’s import and export sectors and securing investment and job opportunities.

Unique location

Mossend’s central location in the heart of Scotland is the only deliverable, large scale site for a development of this kind. First class transport connections to the strategic road and rail network will support businesses seeking a lower cost, efficient and more sustainable alternative to long haul road transport.

Sustainable development

The electrified railhead will put Mossend at the forefront of Scotland’s low carbon freight industry. A new access road to the north of the site will move all associated HGV traffic off the local road network and the development will provide a sustainable green legacy with more than 50 acres of managed community greenspace.
